This issue is not like a single task but more like an overview about our ideas and plans for the upload and creation of ERC in OJS

general tasks

• Enable requests to o2r server via ojs, which require a login  #27
• Enable link to existing ERC if no ERC is created in OJS  #30
• The user should be able to indicate in the plugin settings which "create"-functions should be enabled  #31

workflow plan

• during the submission process in step "2. Upload Submission", a workspace.zip" can be uploaded Making workspace.zip uploadable as ERC in OJS submission step "2. Upload Submission" #28

• The ErcId is delivered back, and for the next submission step "3. Enter Metadata" extracted metadata from the o2r-server are requested and filled in automatically in the OJS metadata if the user indicates that he wants to use this function in the plugin settings Get metadata of already created ERC in OJS via the o2r API #26
• With "Save and continue" in submission step "3. Enter Metadata" it is controlled if all needed metadata for publishing the ERC are available, if yes, the ERC gets published by the corresponding request With "Save and continue" in submission step "3. Enter Metadata" the ERC gets published  #29
• This way the ERC is later on in the article view viewable as galley
