Dialog closes after selecting .style file (MacOS)

Describe the bug
When I try to run either Convert ESRI style to GPL color palette or Convert ESRI style to QGIS style XML, the tool dialog closes after I select the desired style database and click 'Open'.

Note that this is only an issue when browsing to the file. If I type the file path name and Run, there is no error.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open QGIS Processing Toolbox
2. Expand 'SLYR (Community Version)'
3. Expand 'Style databases'
4. Choose either of the two options
5. Under Style database browse to .style file
6. Click open
7. Watch the tool dialog (not just the Finder dialog) close

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: macOS 13.4.1 (Ventura)
• QGIS release: QGIS 3.32
• DataPlotly release: ???

Additional context
I may not have set my mdbtools path correctly. It's set to /usr/local/Cellar/mdbtools/1.0.0/bin, which is the only path I've found that doesn't spur the missing mdb-export message.
