Current implementation only works with events with dedicated start times. An all day event will not trigger. I've configured it to trigger at the start time as well as hours before and it won't trigger. Events that have start times will trigger consistently.
It's interesting to note as well that the next event from the default calendar query will see the all day event and output it. Just no trigger from the calendar in node.
