GUI - enhancement

I'm just wondering if you would be able to implement a GUI that instead of manually selecting the points to 'get', that you could select a column in the attribute data? That way you could merge points by groups all at once, rather than manually selecting each group.

Also, is is possible to automatically number the lines instead of manually inserting a ID for them?
