[Feature Request] Add possibility to save commands in menu

I added the possibility to save commands in menu for xfce4-terminal, but developers don't want to merge my changes.

If l create the same PR for mate-terminal, will it be merged?

What problem does this solve? Sounds like you'd be better off using aliases. Having to grab the mouse to search for commands while on a terminal seems counterproductive when the shell already has this functionality.
