Expected behaviour

Notification not interacted/seen by user is kept in an area for later consideration

Actual behaviour

Notifications not interacted with disappear and cannot be found or read

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  • System notification pops up.
  • User is unable to click &/or read notification
  • Notification disappears, never to be found or read, leaving the user dazed and confused

If or when this is implemented, are there any alternatives for the time being? Is it possible to listen for notifications and store them myself?

EDIT: While out of place with the rest of the desktop theme, found this, and it is doable http://www.webupd8.org/2016/11/recent-notifications-indicator-lets-you.html
