Command applet let you see the output of a command. But some commands require root to work. My case: I want to see nordvpn status output, which works only with sudo.

So, it would be cool to have sudo checkbox or something similar in Command applet preferences. The password may be asked on applet startup.

You can configure sudo to never ask for your password.

…and you can do so for specific commands as well.

I didn't know. Thank you! However, such a feature may be useful for inexperienced users, I guess. But I'm not sure. Hard to say without any usage stats.
