Copycat

An extension that allows you to copy any URL with a single press of a button.

Features

  • Copy any URL by hovering your mouse cursor over it and pressing the 'Z' key on your keyboard;
  • Copy any hypertext as plain text by hovering your mouse cursor over it and pressing the 'X' key on your keyboard;
  • A sound will play and a notification popup will appear at the bottom of the screen when the copying action was performed successfully;
  • Supporting English, Chinese (Simplified) and Japanese locales.

Installation

  • For Google Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers) users: Download the latest release from this repository (ATM: Copycat 1.0.0), go to the Extensions menu in your browser, enable the Developer Mode and install the extension by loading the downloaded archive into it directly.

  • For Firefox (and Firefox-based browsers) users: I highly suggest installing from the official Firefox Add-ons website by going to this page - Copycat - 🦊 Firefox and clicking Install.
