Contributors Wanted! #969
Comments
Add a call to contribute to the top of the README. Ref #969.
Quick updateIf you'd like to review pull requests, I think I'll approve a PR if two people review it and all the tests pass. Tests are preferred with PRs but some are quite minor and affect parts of the codebase that are already tested. See the easy-to-merge label on pull requests for issues that probably require minimal review. There are also open issues that are open to discussion/analysis if you have the time. In about 7 days we should only have about 50-70 to get through, some of which might be easy to close. My goal is to get to Issue Queue 0 with this project, then put together more and better examples for all the front end frameworks out there! @lynndylanhurley is still contributing to the gem, time permitting. Don't want to speak for him but he is still involved too. |
Thanks @zachfeldman!! |
Thanks @zachfeldman! great work reviewing all the PRs/Issues. This isn't the place but we should be adding Code Climate to the PRs so we can improve the code quality of this project 🙂 |
@MaicolBen I did enable this after we spoke. Is this all or did I miss something? |
Weird, it didn't appear in the last PR. Don't worry, I will let you know if in the future is still without showing up in the PRs |
I really want to make this the gem I use for oauth and token management, but I keep running into small issues - so I guess the best solution is to volunteer to contribute. I'll be submitting pull requests following contribution guidelines soon. |
@Blitzkev we want it to be too! And we think it definitely can be. Would love your contributions :) |
Contributors wanted!
See our Contribution Guidelines. We're making an effort to bring back this gem and fix everything open! Feel free to submit pull requests, review pull requests, or review open issues. If you'd like to get in contact, Zach Feldman has been wrangling this effort, you can reach him with his name @gmail.
