Hi,
I'm using Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon (4.8.6). I don't know what daily builds are, so I'm not sure if I'm using them. I haven't changed anything since the install to use them. I don't know the hardware or driver for the graphics. I'm using the 64 bit version.
I have an illuminated keyboard and mouse, the make of which is KUIYN. Once Mind loads up, the illuminated key functionality stops working. It works from restart up to that point.
I put a question up on LinuxQuestions and someone told me to use dmesg -w when the keyboard was unplugged, then to clear the screen, and then to connect it and copy all the data that came up. It showed the following:
[ 341.967494] usb 3-4: new low-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd
[ 342.121914] usb 3-4: New USB device found, idVendor=2a7a, idProduct=8a47, bcdDevice= 0.01

The keys should light up via backlights if FN and Scroll Lock are pressed, and this keyboard just seems to do it with Scroll Lock on it's own. The connection type is USB. If you need any more info or want me to try anything, please let me know.
Regards,
MMM.
