It would be very nice if I could add Github projects as boards in this app to view and edit them. I'm not exactly sure what this would take or how hard it would be (or if it's even possible), but if possible it would be a very nice feature.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Currently the main focus of the project is the offline side of things. I have wanted to try at least allowing one-time imports from GitHub projects so you can display those boards in Kanri, but I have not found any way to export them from GitHub (so far).
Will keep this issue open for discussion, if anyone has some input feel free to put it in here.

Update: I have found a way to do a one-time import of GitHub projects. This means that you export the project from GitHub and import it into Kanri. Because Kanri is built to be completely offline and running on a single device, this means that you would need to permanently stick to exclusively editing the board inside Kanri.

A direct sync with GitHub projects is not planned anytime soon, for a usecase like that I would recommend a classic issue tracker which integrates with GitHub directly.
