I'm trying to measure GC stop-the-world duration with kamon-system-metrics. Looking at the docs, it's not clear what events are included in the duration of jvm.gc. Does it only include the actual GC pauses, or does it include also other events that won't stop the application threads (e.g. with G1GC)?
