There is not a lot of information out there, but it seems like extending our client instrumentation to add the Root field with whatever is Kamon's current trace should do the trick. I'm wondering whether we should do anything on the server side, though. Probably we should also adopt the root trace id when possible.

I got asked today whether we are planning to include the AWS Application Load Balancer Trace Header on HTTP client requests. Are we? 🤔
