PyPI XMLRPC search disabled

PyPI XMLRPC search has been disabled since December, see https://status.python.org/.
Does qypi have a workaround, or a complete JSON on github, even an old one ?

No and no.

Hiding the xmlrpc based commands from the --help output would be useful. The xmlrpc outage looks like it will be eternal.
