This repo is a collection of documents. It's easier to browse and a better experience if it's organized out of the github website.
Currently the gh-pages is the primary branch, so going to jsisrael.github.io/goodness-squad brings up a nice formatted markdown page.

But I would like to have a nice layout surrounding the content. Right now I can think of 2 options:

  1. Jekyll
  2. Gitbook

I think Jekyll is better looking, no?

Well, Jekyll has some nice themes we can use:

See any theme that catches your eye @amitzur @shairez?

Well, I'm a sucker for Tufte font, so I was drawn to this: https://cdn.ampproject.org/c/siawyoung.com/immaculate/

But we need to consider the use case and audience. It's not so much of a blog. I feel like the front page should have the readme content, and links like this:

  • Event organizer
  • Project lead
  • Participant
  • Wanna create something like this in your own community?
  • Past and upcoming events
  • Contact us (?)

So need to consider this for the design. WDYT?

Maybe we can go with a landing-page design like we have on www.jsisrael.com?

Or do we want it to be more "plaintexty" and less visually appealing?
