Zoom Image not loaded - Nothing happens on click

If the zoom image isn't loaded when I click the image to trigger the zoom, nothing happens.

Is there a way to automatically trigger the zoom with callback when the image has loaded, so I could add a loading spinner. Right now, you don't really understand what is going on.
