There are significant differences between JupyterLab and classic notebook UIs and the Javascript objects available in each. For example, the Jupyter object is not available in the JupyterLab UI.

Currently, the Jupyter object is referenced:

  • in studio.js, to enable / disable keyboard interrupts when going into and out of focus of various screen objects.
