Bugreports for v.3.6 over SMAX 2.0 on Win7 x64 Home (no antivirus):

1. thinker.exe starts, silently does something, creates empty log, then silently finishes. terranx_mod.exe works.
2. Human bases, when conquered by progenitors, aren't reduced to size 1, and don't spawn escape pods. Probably, viceversa (prog bases conquered by humans) also true.
3. When a faction is killed early, "Faction is eradicated" message (and punishment sphere animation if the killer is you) is displayed instead of a "faction_leader_name with his/her henchmen have escaped in an emergency pod", even though the losers are clearly restarting.

So as a clarification, bug reports should be filed on issues tab. Game development ideas can be placed on their own separate thread on discussions.

1. Sometimes this might be caused by missing permissions on some folder (game needs to be started with elevated privileges). You can still use the old launcher if there's issues though.
2. This is intended behaviour. Because of bugs with diplomacy dialogue, extra escape pods are not created anymore when those bases are captured. The population reduction is lessened to compensate for this change.
3. If you can create a reproducible save for this bug, you can post it on issues.
