Hey, thanks for making this awesome little project! Me and my friends have played a few games and we all find it pretty neat. However, I question the legality of hosting the UNO card game myself. I haven't been able to find any online resources that say it one way or another. According to some sites, only the "UNO" brand name can be copyrighted, and someone hosting it would have to remove the name but could keep the gameplay mechanics. I would appreciate any knowledge that you all have on this subject. Thanks again for the fun game! :)

Since I've started this project, I've tried to look forward informations about the legality and being honest I've got the same info that you said:

Another thing that could involve copyright issues would be using the same card pictures they already use in the original game (so my friend created the card pictures that we are currently using on our game).
Being minded about it, in my opinion it will be really hard to get in some trouble with legality because we have much less players than the official game (so it will be hard to call a lot of attention to the brand owners in a way they would try something). So, in case we get in some trouble anytime, I think we just need to remove the "UNO" brand name from everything 😆
