A few classic Mac games supported the IPX protocol using Novell's MacIPX addon. I think if #9 is implemented it should be possible to let old Macs dial in to an ipxbox server, at least by jumping through a couple of hoops:
Novell shipped something called MACIPXGW.LAN which could bridge IPX networks to AppleTalk networks. MacIPX will detect such a gateway automatically.
Apple Remote Access (ARA) supported dial-in to AppleTalk networks via modem.
So in theory if ipxbox's PPP implementation supported ATCPand could do the MacIPX encapsulation/decapsulation, it would be possible for a classic Mac to dial in to an ipxbox server and play IPX games. But #9 is a necessary prerequisite.
