Click and drag for on-device widget inspector does not trigger selection in DevTools inspector

In this gif, the first two selections are triggered by single clicks on the on-device widget inspector. The second do are click and drag events on the on-device widget inspector, and when the mouse click is released, this should have the same behavior as a single click to select. But as you can see in the gif, the selection does not occur in the Devtools inspector as expected.
