same. this seems like a long-term issue (since 2016?) that has never been solved.

I've been seeing comments going back to 2016 on Pencil app crashing on quit, Now in 2023, it's happening to me. It seems like a very basic problem that is reproducible. This app is recommended by my professor for a class, so it's disappointing that something so very basic hasn't been solved.

Expected Behavior
App should quit without crash.

Actual Behavior
App crashes when click "Quit" on macOS.

To Reproduce
Quit App from macOS.

This has been happening for me for several years, every time I exit pencil I get a crash. Used on two different MAC laptops, both the same.
The attached screenshot, I just opened Pencil, did nothing else (didn't open any drawings), the selected quit from the menu.
