Creating the conda env based on environment.yml breaks with:

Solving environment: failed

ResolvePackageNotFound:
  - ipython==7.19.0=py38h9bb44b7_0

See conda/conda#10460 .

Maybe an alternative is to use a requirements.txt file instead.
