It's pretty common for websites and apps to have a newsletter.

I suggest we make a newsletter component that registers an email on the email service and add documentation around how to send emails to those subscribers for various use-cases.

Agreed. Could you make an example of what you think that would look like? Then we can think about getting that into the main template.

Oh, I definitely have already chosen the one that will recommend. It's convertkit. That's the one that I use. It's great.
