BlenderGIS Fails in Blender 4.2.2/Sonoma 14.6.1 UI completely Inoperative #931
Comments
You must press echap key to exit the operator, like all Blender's modal operators |
Thank you for that. The Escape key does indeed allow a graceful exit from the BlenderGIS freeze of the UI. But the core issue is and remains that BlenderGIS freezes and is inoperative when loading a basemap with the system configuration described. The amount of work involved in developing and maintaining this add-on is phenomenal. I'm not a coder but if I can provide any troubleshooting or testing assistance, please let me know. |
I can second that: Facing the exact same behavior as @B7527 (and others in other threads). Using BlenderGIS 2.2.10, Blender 4.2.3 (Python 311) on Windows 11 Pro 24H2. http://mt0.google.com/vt/lyrs=m&x=4489218&y=2949120&z=23
