Hi,

google reference audio file has an integrated loudness of -16 LUFS. You can find the file at:

https://developers.google.com/actions/downloads/loudness/tts-reference.wav

I was wondering why the LUFS analyser shows a value of around -30 LUFS when the sample file is -16 LUFS. Is it related to the fact that one measure is integrated and the other is real time?

Many thanks,

Hi @yarandoo , thanks for getting in touch.

Currently the library is calculating the momentary and short-term LUFS readings, not integrated.

I'll be looking to add in the additional feature extractions when I get some time!
The whole library needs a bit of a refactor to be honest, I'm looking for collaborators and similar projects to pair up with.

Tom
