Currently, Auto detect doesn't show the user what it has determined the language to be. This prevents the Switch Language button from working, which makes it harder to use Dialect for responding to the input text we just translated.
An option could be to simply switch the input panel language from Auto to the detected language. This would then enable the "switch languages" UI button.

This already works if you use Google with live translation disabled. Support for Lingva has been added here #292.
Looks like LibreTranslate also can be supported now, on previous versions of LibreTranslate you had to use the /detect endpoint to only get the detected lang, now translating from auto also returns the detected lang.
