Welcome to the changedetection.io wiki!

In the media..

Subscription service

We are pleased to announce that we offer a paid subscription service for just $6.99/month with unlimited checks and watches (and half the price of any other provider!).

You will receive a private URL and password login - many people don't have time to setup a local installation and for those people - this is an excellent solution.

Examples

Some nice example usage

Notification when Tesla Model-Y goes on-sale

You want to be the first to get your hands on a Model Y Tesla, they don't offer a newsletter or direct notification, so you can setup a watch and Discord or Twilio notification

It is rumoured that they place a button labelled "order now" on their page, so we will be placing a trigger for that text to appear.

Add the link

Model Y - get notification

Configure the watch, add the trigger text "order now" as a trigger/filter

This will block any notification until the text appears somewhere in the website

Model Y - edit

Set the 're-check time' to 1 minute

Model Y - check time

Set the "order now" trigger text

Click on "Filters & Triggers" tab, scroll to the bottom

Add Order Now and/or Order on a new line

Model Y - edit

Configure the notification

Here you can use email or any one of 70+ notification services, in this example we add a Twilio service link

Model Y - check time

Now just press save, If the text 'Order Now' appears on the Tesla website, you will receive a notification that the Model Y is now in-stock and ready to order.

You could also leave out the "order now" filter just to be sure you capture all changes and don't miss anything (maybe they label the button something else)
