Adding a moving average (rather than an infinite aquisition) to see some time evolution or to allows pointing mouvements.
The reference image for the tracking could be the first one of the ongoing (future) average.

Thank you to develop such a fantastic soft.

Hi Serge,

Thanks for your feedback. Not sure to understand. Your are talking about a moving average based on the last "x" pictures, but still using the very first image as the reference for alignment ?
If yes, i don't get the goal for that. can you tell us a bit more about your idea, please ?

Merci pour les précisions, je vois mieux l'intérêt pour toi, en effet, cela te permet une osrte de "preview" pour bien positionner le dobson. Tu utilise quel soft pour l'acquisition ? Il ne permet pas un flux vidéo direct, ou une préview, comme sur ekos par exemple ?
Si c'est juste pour le positionnement, pas sûr que livestack soit des plus confortable, contrairement à un simple shoot de quelques sec dont il n'est pas grave qu'il y ai du filé puisque c'est juste pour se positionner, non ?
