After turning on the Fitbit plugin in the AWARE dashboard, Android client apps received a persistent notification on their device asking them to pair their Fitbit account. This was an issue since not all study participants had Fitbit devices.
We found the only way to get rid of the notification was to deactivate the plugin within the client app or pair a Fitbit device and account with the phone. Disabling all notifications for the AWARE app also got rid of the notification.
Issue rating: Minor - 2 out of 5 where 5 is worse.
