Not switching screens?

I have installed barrier on Win10 (server) and Win11 (client). Had to overcome the SSL cert missing issue, but after doing that the logs on both machines show that they are connected.

I put Win11 to the right of Win10. If I move the mouse off the right side of Win10, the server log shows "switch from Win10 to Win11" and "leaving screen". The client log shows "entering screen".

But the screen I'm looking at doesn't change. I initially installed v2.4.0, found a comment in the issues that v2.3.4 works much better. So I tried downgrading. Behavior is unchanged.

What am I missing? Am I just wrong in expecting barrier to allow me to share one monitor between two computers? I do see that my keyboard and mouse switch. I was expecting a KVM switch, but this seems to be a KM switch only?

Sorry for the newbie confusion.

Barrier is for sharing one set of mouse+Keyboard across different machines. BUT, each machine needs a its own monitor.
Barrier can't and won't stream the video from multiple machines to one single monitor.
