downloads are done via some JS, so would be "fun". Any API may be there to get direct URLs to the tarballs?

Looked at it again, and it seems superior to bypass the javascript and the tarballs and do this:

• "click" on the study title to get to a page like this http://anima.fz-juelich.de/studies/AlcalaLopez_Social_Connectome_2017
• the "elements" tab will have links to the actual files, e.g. http://anima.fz-juelich.de/library/AlcalaLopez_Social_Connectome_2017/seed_lSMA_vox200.nii.gz

These links also seem to be assembled by some javascript (but at least on the fully rendered page they can be used verbatim), and I have no idea which one is the native form (tarball or single files), but in terms of fine-grained access, the single file links should be preferable.
