When compiled this production produces a stack overflow exception.

The problem is the evaluation of the optional symbols extends; when that part is removed is works again.

syntax ClassDecl = clsdcl: "class" Identifier ( "extends" Identifier )? "{"
                     VarDecl* dcls MethodDecl*  mtds
                    "}";
