VRML2 files are always exported triangulated, this modifies the file and changes the topology of the meshes in OBJ format, and it is a problem with the applications to apply the subdivision surfaces, the original OBJ topology could be respected, since VRML2 like VRML1 have this topological characteristic, and aren't they always triangles?
