This is using the UI.
A bot collected loads, and died, leaving a big pile of loot.
I tried to pick it up with the UI.
It looks like 6 items were picked up.
I got several "you can't pick that up" messages (no idea why? Is there a limit on what I can carry already?)
I ended up with 6 items in my inventory, but all the others had gone.

No idea if this is reproduceable yet.
