Signal yaml does not work for me and I dont know why

I'll try to use signal, but somehow I make some mistakes with the yaml config.

If I use this everthing works fine:

  - signal://signal:8080/+1234567890/+0987654321:
     - tag: signal

but this throws an error:

  - signal://signal:8080/+1234567890:
     - to: +0987654321
       tag: signal

Error:

I'm still a noob with apprise so I don't know if there is a validity problem here.

I can't seem to reproduce your issue as it appears to work for me.

I created this #792 to test both cases you identified, and in both cases they load correctly. Just to verify, you're YAML Configuration looks like the test cases i created here?

Is it possibly you're not using the latest version of Apprise?

I'm using the latest version of your docker container (caronc/apprise:latest) in version 1.2.0

EDIT: Yes your check looks exactly like my config.

EDIT2: apprise-api shows under Overview->Loaded Configuration only this

Shouldn't it be an entry with both phone numbers?

If I change "- to: +4187654321" to "- to: 087654321" then the config has the to value [changed example numbers to represent more my situation]:
signal://signal:8080/+1234567890/+087654321?batch=no&status=no&format=text&overflow=upstream&rto=4.0&cto=4.0&verify=yes

It seems that the parser has problems with the "+" sign. The format "0041" instead "+41" also doesn't work.
Its stange that it add a plus sign for the number.

If I change the "to" to "- to: 4187654321" it doesn't also work. I had the hope that it will add the "+" automatically

I now put the number in quotation marks. Now it works.
(edited example with real area prefix)

  - signal://signal:8080/+4134567890:
     - to: "+4187654321"
       tag: signal

Ahh, without the quotes, it's probably being interpreted as a number. That's interesting. I'll double check on my side if there is something i can do, but it's possible the + is lost without the quotes anyhow.

To eliminate ambiguity, I'd definitely encourage the use of quotes.
