In Chrome, the thumbnail panel in OpenSeadragon disappears when you move your mouse to scroll forward or backward in the sequence. This means that scrolling can only be done with arrow keys.

To reproduce:

  • open a new manifest
  • go to Import Canvases
  • import a sequence
  • try to scroll forward through the thumbnails of your imported sequence

NB this doesn't happen in Firefox.

@emmastanford Could you give some more information? I can not reproduce this. I'm using Chrome 55 on MacOS Sierra and I tried my local instance as well as the instance on http://iiif.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/manifest-editor for example with this manifest: http://iiif.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/iiif/manifest/bb1d2a27-ca15-4f41-8b43-c8329eab7bfe.json

Notice that this manifest http://media.nga.gov/public/manifests/nga_highlights.json doesn't seem to work properly anymore but that seems to be a data issue with NGA, not the editor.

Could you give the following information?

  • Browser version
  • Operating system used
  • URL of the instance of the manifest editor where the problem occurs
  • URL of the manifest which didn't work as expected

Thanks. I can confirm that the thumbnails for the given instance and manifest work perfectly on Chrome 55 and Chrome 56 on Mac OS. I will take a look on Windows 10 then.

I can reproduce the problem on Chrome 56 on Windows 10. Will look into it.
