I'm on a similar issue, if some has a way to debug through UART console I'd be glad too ! :) |

mktclinet has a meta mode for uart and since SPFlashtool can use it I'd like to use it directly to debug a bootloop I can't recover from, how can I do so?
since I use a Linux distro, UART over USB is inately supported by the kernel and so it should be straight forward to use it, but I couldn't find a single blog post, forum thread or article where that's done. Am I missing something or is there just no practical reason to even try?
as far as I'm aware, from powe on to LKs kexec there's a UART console for debugging purposes open and I should be able to just connect to it and yet I can't...
