Bitwarden Beta

  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile <-- I didn't check it because it's no longer a BETA. You should adjust the text.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. activate the login via Face ID
  2. open the app
  3. the keyboard is briefly visible, although the login should be done via Face ID

Expected Result

The keyboard is not visible, as it was with the legacy app.

Actual Result

The keyboard appears briefly, but obviously cannot be used. This could confuse users.

Screenshots or Videos

bitwarden_ios

(Sorry, I had to take a photo because the keyboard is not visible on screenshots.)

Additional Context

The keyboard also appears when entering login information on websites if Face ID is used here.

Build Version

2024.8.1

Environment Details

iPad Pro 2022

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.
