Opera bookmarks bar flashing

Steps To Reproduce

With the extension installed in Opera, whenever you rest your mouse and keyboard for a short while, the bookmarks bar flashes rapidly. It stops every now and then for a short while, then resumes flashing. Happens irrespective of the browner having focus or not. I use my browser maximised. If I disable the Bitwarden plugin, this behavior stops.

Expected Result

The bookmarks bar should not be flashing.

Actual Result

Show the bookmarks bar in Opera, have at least two bookmarks/folders in it. Install plugin, enable it, open a few tabs, maximize browser, then wait a few seconds without moving the mouse of touching the keyboard.

Additional Context

Tried disabling hardware acceleration in Opera's settings, does not influence Bitwarden plugin causing flashing.
