When processing Sentinel-2 L1C images with the new processing baseline 05.11 we noticed that the Idepix returns a mask saying that each pixel on the image is a cloud, even though some of these images contain almost no clouds. This issue was observed specifically since the 24th of July, when the new processing baseline was released. The announcement of this processing baseline can be found here: https://dataspace.copernicus.eu/news/2024-7-19-deployment-sentinel-2-processing-baseline-version-0511-23-july.

Hi simon, please make sure that you are using the latest update of SNAP 10. There was an issue with the S2 L1C reader following the introduction of the new PB, which has now been fixed. The update is not retroactive to SNAP 9, so make sure you have the latest version installed.
Idepix should then process as expected.
small update: we have asked that the update be ported to SNAP9 (it will not be done for SNAP8). The team is working on it, but is facing some problems preventing its release for now but is working on it. Please check for updates in your SNAP in the coming days.
