Can't debug other extension

Seems the project is abandoned, however:
I found a strange bug with this extension.
When developing another extension and trying to debug the other extension, debugging fails.
Even the first instruction in the activate function is not reached.

When disabling kanbn everything is fine again.
This is 100% reproducible, at least for me.

vscode 1.74, kanbn 0.11.0
