How do I run tests locally if I want to contribute?

Hello! Are there instructions for how to run tests locally? I wanted to submit a PR and want to make sure tests pass before I open it.

In particular, I'm looking to add some functionality to the aws eks get-token command and wanted to update its relevant tests, which I believe are here.

I may have missed it, but I didn't find instructions in the README or the CONTRIBUTING guide. While I am familiar with Python, it is not my primary programming language, so it's possible something that is obvious to Python developers is just unclear to me.

I went through the instructions on this documentation page to install from source.

At this point I'm unsure how to move forward and would appreciate some guidance on how to execute tests. Thank you!
