Hi,

After recent 17.1 profile update steam stopped working:

~ $ steam
Running Steam on gentoo 1.0.0.59-r3 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled by the user
Pins up-to-date!
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1560625417)
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1560625417)
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1560625417)

At this point it just hangs...
Reset doesn't help and I have no idea how to debug this issue.

I've put off the 17.1 migration for far too long. This issue concerns me so I'll try to do it soon.

@Sufferiney Steam works now, for me, at least. I don't know what happened, but after several routine updates (both my gentoo and steam) it started to work again.
Thanks to @chewi anyway!
