Generator gives bad result

I just ran the sample code and get the following result. Must be affected by packages version. Has anyone ran into this issue before?

have you successfully generate good results? my version is Python 3.7.11, but the generated result can't be used. do you have any idea with this problem?

@namdo281 Thank you!! I had to make a few additional changes to gen.py to get it to work today in 2023, but your changes to text_utils and colorize3_poisson and saved me. 🙏
