wondering if ALVR can be used to get oculus games to run on a valve Index in Linux

I have a Valve Index and in Windows I use REVIVE to play Oculus Rift S games on my headset. I would also like to be able to play those games in Linux, but REVIVE launches and runs perfectly, the occulus app just crashes in wine, is it possible to stream to REVIVE instead of a headset directly? (pardon noob questions, not new to Linux but new to VR) Thanks!
