Useful shell commands:
- pwd = print current directory
- ~/ = shortcut to home directory
- / = absolute path
- no / = relative path
- rm = remove (it's gone forever)
- rmdir = remove directory
- cat = reads a text file so you see it on your shell
Python:
- accessed by typing python on the shell
- // = integer division in Python 3
- print(2) = display 2 in the workspace
- quit() = just close python
iPython:
- accessed by typing ipython on the shell
- just more colorfoul than python
- can access In[] and Out[]
- Esc h = gives the list of shortcuts
- Edit mode = green and accessed with the return key
- Command mode = blue nd accessed with the esc
