To debug reported problems with the wifi networks it would be helpfull if the app could collect some debug informations. This includes:

  • SSID of connected wifi
  • current signal strength
  • MAC of wifi interface
  • MAC of connected AP
  • IP address and gateway obtained via dhcp
  • DNS obtained via dhcp
  • ping -c 4 to gateway
  • ping -c 4 to dns server

It should be possible to copy the collected information to the clipboard and share it (email, …)
