Install OS with IDER and AMT

I've tried to install Linux Fedora 35 using the IDER with AMT unsuccessfully.
It seems that MeshCentral is reporting use of the IDE-R session and bytes are going in and out. At first very fast and then slowing down after some time. The install eventually fails and Linux reports a timeout.

I've tried installing MeshCentral on a few different systems and also connecting to MeshCentral with different operating systems incase IDE-R worked better with one or the other. I got the same results each time.
When I have an operating system already installed IDE-R seems to work well as I can get to the attached media from inside the OS no problem.
I've tried SIDER as well but then iso/cdrom doesn't seem to be available from at EFI boot selection screen
Are there known issues with this or any suggestions for getting it to work?
