I am trying to understand the data and it's transformation used in the LSTM
Taking an example of decompensation, the input data has 17 categories and 1 output. But the "utils.BatchGenDeepSupervision" generates variable with different dimension i.e. 2d array where one dimension has extra 76 categories (columns) and the 17 original categories in the other dimension. I am unable to understand this transformation. Is the duration between the observations (not ICU admissions/visits) considered in the transformation process?
Can you please explain this transformation?
